What Does The Camshaft Of A Car Do Not Move

Apr 20, 2023

Automotive camshaft installation and bearing fit clearance is too small or no clearance, the oil channel on the bearing is not aligned with the oil hole of the body, the camshaft operation produces high temperature, the camshaft bearing burns and sticks to the camshaft, the camshaft will not move.

The camshaft and the curved timing teeth of the car are not correctly aligned. When the piston goes up to top dead center, the valve is opened by the piston, and the valve ejector rod is against the CAM. The valve guide is installed too high. When the valve is pressed down, the valve lock card pushes up to the guide, and the valve jacking rod pushes against the CAM. Something fell out of the cylinder liner against the valve, the valve rod against the CAM and the camshaft will not move.

Automotive camshafts are related to temperature, lubrication, and material fatigue of camshafts and their matching parts. Before the camshaft is locked, the car will be a little weak, and the engine will idle or refueling.
